The Challenge:
In July of 2021, Geodis announced their acquisition of Velocity Transport – an existing TriumphPay partner. Before TriumphPay, Velocity Transport was having experiencing challenges. Incorrect payments were going out to factors. They were experiencing inefficiencies like receiving funds, cutting checks in the back office, and their employee’s time was stretching thin. Inefficiencies like these can be costly and they were looking to cut down on back office expenses.
“TriumphPay has been exactly what we needed. Their technology helps us communicate, address payment issues, and pay our carriers. TriumphPay has completely taken the payments processes out of our hands so we don’t have to dedicate as many resources to it. Whenever we have any issues, TriumphPay is there to help us solve them.””

The Action:
TriumphPay offered Geodis an easy to view payment remittance for carriers and factors so they don’t have to worry about making payments. We now have a seamless process to help get your Factors and Carriers paid. It helps the carriers connect and view their payments and submit easily. TriumphPay issues all ACH and checks so we don’t have to worry about it and pulling payment status is easy.
The Results:
Sara Huddleston, Accounting Manager of Geodis states that if it weren’t for TriumphPay, her department headcount would be 2-3X what it is today.
